Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Waiters/Waitresses. As key members of our food and beverage team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests, ensuring that every meal is a memorable and enjoyable occasion.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escorting them to their tables and providing menus.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, making knowledgeable recommendations and answering any questions about menu items.
- Enter orders into the point-of-sale system accurately and promptly, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a courteous and attentive manner, checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests for additional items, refills, or adjustments to orders.
- Assist with table set-up and clearing, ensuring that tables are clean, properly set, and ready for the next guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth coordination of food and beverage service.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, processing payments and providing receipts to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the dining area, including clearing and sanitizing tables, chairs, and condiment stations.
- Uphold the resort’s standards of hospitality and service excellence, striving to exceed guest expectations with every interaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
