Bell Man

Position Overview: We are seeking a courteous and attentive Bellman to join our hospitality team and assist guests with their luggage and other needs during their stay. As an integral member of our resort staff, you will provide personalized service, create memorable experiences, and ensure that guests feel welcome and cared for from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assisting with luggage handling and providing assistance as needed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable check-in experience.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about resort amenities, services, and local attractions along the way.
  • Assist guests with luggage storage, retrieval, and delivery to their rooms, ensuring that belongings are handled with care and delivered promptly.
  • Provide assistance and recommendations to guests regarding dining options, activities, and transportation arrangements, helping to enhance their overall experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lobby area, including luggage carts, bell stands, and seating areas, to create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for guests.
  • Monitor guest requests and inquiries, responding promptly and professionally to address their needs and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with front desk staff and other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient service delivery to guests.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the resort with professionalism and hospitality.
  • Uphold the resort’s standards of service excellence, striving to exceed guest expectations with every interaction.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a bellman, porter, or hospitality service role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and courteous demeanor.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage and other items, and to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options preferred.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • A positive attitude, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to guests.
