Front Desk/ Receptionist

Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests at our resort. As the face of Sea Spa Beach Resort, you will play a crucial role in providing a warm welcome, assisting with inquiries, and ensuring that guests have a seamless and memorable experience from check-in to check-out.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently, processing payments, and providing accurate information about room rates, amenities, and resort services.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing helpful recommendations and assistance to enhance their stay.
  • Manage reservations and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in booking procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the lobby and reception area, to create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for guests.
  • Answer phone calls and emails professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate department or staff member as needed.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to fulfill guest requests and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints with tact and diplomacy, striving to resolve issues to the guest’s satisfaction while upholding the resort’s standards of service.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping to support the smooth operation of the front desk.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a front desk or receptionist position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including MS Office and property management systems (PMS).
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, handling challenging situations with grace and composure.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional service to guests.
