Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Resort Driver to provide transportation services for our guests. As an essential member of our hospitality team, you will ensure the safe and comfortable transport of guests to and from the resort, as well as to local attractions and points of interest.
Responsibilities:
- Provide transportation services for guests, including airport transfers, shuttle services, and local excursions, in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with luggage handling, and provide information about resort amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, conducting regular inspections and adhering to maintenance schedules to ensure safety and reliability.
- Plan routes efficiently to minimize travel time and optimize guest convenience, taking into account traffic patterns, road conditions, and guest preferences.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, including speed limits, seat belt requirements, and cell phone usage restrictions, to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.
- Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage, providing assistance and support as needed to ensure their comfort and convenience.
- Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and resort staff to coordinate transportation services and respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption, submitting reports to the transportation supervisor or management as required.
- Uphold the resort’s standards of hospitality and service excellence, striving to exceed guest expectations with every interaction.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Previous experience in a chauffeur, shuttle driver, or transportation service role preferred.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local roads, routes, and landmarks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion when interacting with guests.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry luggage and assist passengers as needed.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
