Position Overview: We are seeking meticulous and detail-oriented Room Attendants to join our housekeeping team and ensure the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms. As integral members of our hospitality staff, Room Attendants play a crucial role in providing a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for our guests to enjoy during their stay.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, suites, and public areas in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish amenities to ensure a fresh and inviting atmosphere for guests.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture to maintain a neat and orderly appearance.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and countertops, to uphold hygiene standards.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Uphold the resort’s commitment to exceptional service by responding promptly to guest requests and addressing any concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist with special cleaning projects and tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues professionally.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and reaching.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
