Position Overview: We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Guard to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. As a key member of our security team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment, preventing unauthorized access, and responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies that may arise.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol the premises on foot or by vehicle to monitor for any suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, or security breaches.
- Maintain a visible presence at all times, deterring potential threats and providing reassurance to guests and staff.
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems, promptly investigating any alarms or disturbances and taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Enforce resort policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of doors, windows, and other access points to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff concerns, providing assistance and support as needed.
- Prepare detailed incident reports documenting any security-related incidents, accidents, or disturbances.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services personnel as needed during emergencies or security incidents.
- Assist with emergency evacuation procedures and provide guidance to guests and staff during evacuations or other emergency situations.
- Perform other security-related duties and tasks as assigned by the Security Supervisor or Management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Valid security guard license or certification required.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail to detect potential security threats or safety hazards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with guests, staff, and law enforcement personnel.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, responding quickly and decisively to emergencies or security incidents.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- A strong sense of integrity and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
